my five learning goals
Do my homework every day. I did it.
Come to class every day. I almost did but i missed two days.
To not be late to class ..I did it by coming on time every day.
To learn.. I did by paying close attention to MR.Devine.
Pass all of my tests ..i did by studying.
Next, I want to explain how one of our reading strategies works. Below I will explain how to Chart a Text. Then, I will give an example of how I charted a non-fiction text.
how to chart the text:
Read the text.
draw the chart
write what the author says
write what the author does
What does the author say?
Par.
What does the author do?
Terrorist come from 14 countries if you come
from these countries you will be examined
more carefully.

The author is explaining that it's essay to
solve these problems with checking people
at airports.
Terrorist come from many different countries
and the more we learn about them the more
we know that myths about them are fake.

The author is proving that myths about terrorist
are wrong by giving evidence.
Terrorist can not only be from rich family"s
but can also be poor and still have ways
to get bums.

The author is claiming that there are many ways
to become a terrorist because to be a terrorist
you don't need money.
Terrorist come from all socioeconomic
backgrounds.

The author is showing that terrorist are sometimes
are forced to do what they do because they make
money from it.
terrorist are doing what they do because
they don't have a good job where they make
good money from.

The author is showing that terrorist are what they
are because they get money for doing it.
Terrorist have their own groups which they
call the AL-QAIDS.

come together and work as a team.
Terrorist are not easy to find because away
hiding far away from the city.

and all around the world.
Terrorist are not just people that kill others
because there are many ways of being a

In Erupting countries the older terrorist
give the young one drugs and money to kill.

advantage of younger youth by giving them
money and drugs to kill.
